I went to my doctor today. The CT scan was good. It showed that the cyst on my kidney is still there, but hasn't changed (hasn't shrunk or grown). I also am now able to be off the 4 shots of insulin every day and we are going to try oral med's. WooHoooo!
Got new med's for sleeping. The one we tried wasn't working at all. I am up for many days at a time. The Dr. said that this one should knock me out (we'll see)
I have another UTI, so am on another antibiotic. While I'm on the antibiotic, I have to have my INR's checked every two days.
So, my cancer is doing OK, but I'm constantly dealing with the side effects from the chemo. I'm thankful to God and my medical team. I'm fortunate that all my doctor's are caring and compassionate, and they don't wait to see if a problem will develop into something, but deal with it right away.
