Is there such a thing as a normal life with NS????

Hi

I was diagnosed with NS caused by MCD in March this year. I am in my early 30s and there is no history of any kidney problems in my family. Two weeks ago I went into remission but today it looks like I am now having another relapse. This is after being on cycloblastin, prednisolone, nexium and clexane for over a month now.

My specialist doesn't have many clients with this condition and I heaps of questions that someone (or multiple people can answer). I am at low point now and looking for some hope :). I work full time in a very intense job. Previous to be being diagnosed I loved my job but now I am finding it really hard and very frustrating.

1. How do you cope with working full time and this condition?
2. Is there certain things in your diet that you found helped (besides low salt).
3. Are there any alternative therapies that have helped?
4. Does stress play a part in relapses?
5. What meds have helped?
6. How long have you gone between relapses and was there something in particular that helped?
7. Do you tell people about your illness?
8. What organisations (if any) have helped?

Thanks

Nash
