i have just been diagnosed with type 1 diabeties with my PG only a couple of months ago. I have been coping ok but really am finding it to be stressful being a new mommy and everything I can honestly say I didn't think it would be this difficult with a newborn but it is I am just looking for support from whoever can understand.

Hi. I am happy to see you. I am 29 and was just recently (this past January) diagnosed as a type 1, as well. However, my endo is specifically terming me a type 1.5 (LADA, or slow-onset type 1). As I am new to all of this as well, I'm not sure how much help I can be, but you sound very similar to me, and so I am relieved to see you ;)

I understand what you are going through. I was diagnosed when I was 21 and I am 28 now. I have two daughters and will have another in November. It is difficult. If you need some support or have questions please feel free to ask. I am, and have been on one for 6 years, on a minimed insulin pump.
Let me know how things are going. It would be great to have someone to chat with that is going through the same stuff.
