With 10' ceilings and being under the weather, I neglected my cleaning. I realized yesterday that I not only have cobwebs all around the bedroom, but they are swags! I had to use the step ladder to vacuum all around the ceiling. Never saw a spider, :).
In the bathroom, in the shower is a drain. While I was 'sitting' (OK, I was reading), I heard a funny noise in the shower.
Calico was outside. My bathroom is different. You walk through sliding doors into the shower, then there is a 3/4 wall and the sink and toilet.
Ughhh, I peeked around the corner and there was a big white rat (with red eyes) crawling out of the drain!
How white rats are getting into the drains, I don't know...but I grabbed my hiking stick and whacked it over the head! Dispatched it with the trash.
There are teeny black mice here, but where these rats are coming from I don't know. I had a pet white rat in school, but they are not welcome in my apartment. Weird, oh yes, things are back to being strangely normal!!! :)
