Out Damn Spot!

have been having trigeminal neuralgia (fancy word for pain from Hades) since around Sept. 23 -- been to ER twice one shot of dilaudel and next time a shot of morphine. Finally got an MRI -- i basically have a small tree limb for a blood vessel that is pushing on the nerve. And then, they find a 'Spot' -- from the way the radiologist references it, it could be anything from a lesion from a severe migraine, TIA, MS or Lou Gehrig's -- had this done on 10/26 -- have yet to hear from the neurosurgeon (his secretary thinks she is holding the desk to St. Peter)....so i'm just sitting around waiting for my head to explode like jiffy pop!

God love my dysauto doc = he told me i need to be more aggressive w/doctors and he gave me some Tegretol for the trigeminal stuff - start slow and work your way up. Took 1/2, nothing, took the other half, eh. So i may be working up quicker than we thought. but at least there is a little hope to get rid of the pain. we'll see.
