My daughter has JRA and has had it for 8 years now and she is currently enrolled in a private Christian school and the curriculm is very hard although she seems to thrive on it, however she recently came down with the H1N1 and kids teasing her at school not to mention that she was out for 2 weeks. Having to make up the homework is the hardest, she comes home in tears the other day and hands me a red demerit, those are given when you don't turn in your homework on time. She says, I try and do everything but i get tired and i told her I know and it's okay I understand I just wish everyone who works at the school could walk a mile in her shoes for one day and see how it is to have what she has every minunite of the day. She then looks at me with tears in her eyes and says, "Why was I made this way" I said to her, "YOU ARE PERFECT, GOD MADE YOU PERFECT" it's just that other people can't see you that way. God sees you perfect my sweet sweet girl and so do I.
