Amitiza

Can anyone on here tell me if they have used this medicine, Amitiza? I do not have IBS but have had severe bloating and constipation. I had intestinal surgery last summer and they removed a foot of my intestine. Since then, I am still severely bloated and cannot go on my own. They have ruled out everything and as a last resort have put me on this medicine. I did not like the side effects or the reports I was reading on it, so haven't started yet. I know is is used in the treatment of IBS, so thought I would post on here and see if anyone has taken it. Thank you for any replies.
