well, the last month or so has been pretty unsettling. my son had an earache in his left ear(1 month ago). Took him to doc. doc. gave him a shot to try to knock it out quicker. after 2 weeks he seemed to get a little better, so didn;t worry about it. but yesterday, he began pulling on his ears, both of them, and whining when he did it. so we took him back to doc. today just to be safe, and low and behold, both ears are infected, lots of fluid built up. they gave him an antibiotic, a steroid, and a decongestant. i hate giving him all of that, but the doc said they wanted to try to avoid getting tubes in his ears. this explains alot of the hell we have gone through in the last few weeks with his temper change and traumatizing bedtime regime. i can only imagine how bad he hurts... i could really use some feedback to feel better about him being on all this med.(he already has allergies) and even more about tubes in his ears.
