....I'm doing it, I'm getting on my way to walking and being independent!! It's tough though, cause i must leave my comfort zone and venture back out there. Yes there are many "road blocks" along my path, but I can't give up. Like for example i checked into housing for people with disabilities, and theres a one year waiting list. So i tried to find apartments that were handicapped, hardly anyone in town is handicapped accessible. They say its a new policy but takes time to make alot of the older places up to code. Then I found a place, almost perfect-somewhat accessible, just out of my budget, since I'm just SSDI. Then I found out my state has a "ticket to work" program, that allows me to work for up to 9 months while still getting my SSDI. So i've been applying at EOE jobs, and am hoping to get an interview soon. It's coming together, just can't give up. A few more minor details to work out, but looks like i've been able to demolish some of those RB's for now.
