Pat is in surgery as I write this. The surgery was to be on Wednesday morning, but when they were at the pre-op consultation on Monday, they were informed that there was a cancellation (don't know why or what happened) and so there was an opening this morning at 7:00 AM. They were given the option of moving the surgery to this time frame.
Due to concerns for not knowing what Hurricane Ike might decide to do, Bill and Pat decided that they should move it to today. Plus, they wanted to go ahead and get it over and done with.
I woke up just before 7:00 AM and when I saw what time it was, I paused and prayed for Bill and Pat. I will pray for them again later this morning.
I would appreciate your prayers for them and I'll post an update once I hear from Bill after Pat comes out of surgery.
