I have recently been diagnosed with Coronary Artery Disease. For ages I have seen doctors about a persistent pain under my left shoulder blade. The pain is much worse when I am cold or very physically active.
Finally, I find I have an outrageous Cardiac Calcium Score (7 leisons in 3 major arteries) and suddenly the doc's are very knowledgable, i.e. "Stable Angina" and nitro. I have found the nitro helpful and I've read a lot on line about nitro.
I would love to hear about some of your experiences with angina (how it effects you) how often you take nitro, different delivery systems and if you have found one more effective than another.
I have an appointment with the Cardio in a few days and would love input as I believe we have to be proactive about our care.
Thanks in advance for any experiences you are willing to share!
Blessings! TC
