My Journey #10

This is for the women out there...maybe some men i dont know lol I have been having stabbing pains in my left breast (on the side of it) and its pretty uncomfortable. It's not a constant pain but does come more often than I'd like. Due to my home health nurse being concerned about my having nosebleeds and pressure behind my right eye and these stabbing pains...advised me to get in and see my primary doc. He was out of office yesterday so I had to see his associate. They immediately did an ekg. So she says she wants to compare to the previous one I had in their office...which didnt make sense because the previous one was way b4 my surgery. So in the meantime I'm sitting there in the stuffy lil room readying Time magazine and I hear on speaker phone where doc is trying to contact my cardiologist...to no avail I might add. So she leaves message with his nurse to call her back asap. Comes back into room and says that something was going on according to the ekg but she was trying to get my cardio on board with it. It? scuse me explain that. She said something I had to have her repeat twice and I STILL cant tell you what she said. So she tells me once she hears from cardiologist that they would call me...explained to her I had dec 28 appt with cardiologist and she says we cant wait that long. I'm still waiting for that phone call. She was to call me in some pain meds...she didnt do that either. Also told me that if the pains continued and I became concerned to not hesitate to go to the e.r. To say I'm confused by that whole drs visit is putting it mildly. So now I wait till Monday....I will be on the phone trying to find out what is going on with me. I cannot go through another heart surgery!! I am still recovering from this one...I still have some memory loss and I'm still sore as all get out.
