Have a question for you all, because I have not seen it mentioned, and its something I've been wondering about; so rather than wait until someone brings it up, I thought I would pick your brains...

Has anyone else on here experienced increased libido since your surgery? I have always had a healthy one since before the surgery; but after the surgery, it seems to have sky-rocketed!! I know that we have to go by our doctor's advice when it comes to resuming sexual activity, but wondered in anyone else has experienced this, and if it is a result of a particular medication, or just a natural result of the surgery? Hope this doesn't sound too risque to ask, I was wondering. Thanks for any input.

My libedo has gone completly for the moment..........But then i had a high one before.....Im not too worried at the moment as it would be the last thing on my mind.......

This is not unusual. Unfortunately it doesn't last! may be a combination of relief following surgery and medication.

Thanks for the replies. I didn't want to sound like someone who was trying to "start anything" and risk offending anyone. It was just something that I was wondering. Peace.

I asked my wife, she snarkly said "Yeah, like I could be so lucky."

Ah to be young again! :-(

celeritas,

LOLOLOLOLOL!!!! That was hilarious!! Thanks for my laugh for the day. I needed it!!

hasn't affected my libedo, that's just as high as before, but it has my performance.....I can last longer now as I have more stamina!....all that exercise every day has a benefit! LOL!

I am sorry for all of you who it has negatively affected and hope that situation changes soon for you.

StevieD67 and others:
I had 5 stents put in back in 2008 after a heartattack, and then just recently in 2009 (September) had to have a double bypass. I have to tell you that after the bypass, I had a much greater increase in libido, much to the happiness of the wife!
