Wife has nsclc stage 111b with spots on right lung and plura buildup. Before dx, doc thought it was a sinus infection of some kind. Rt Lung plura sac kept filling up with fluid which had to be taken off every week and one half. She is on cemo now and the plura fluid is down but she still has a constant mucus build up where she will fill up one or two cups of fluid a day and go through two boxes of kleenix per day. No one seems to think this is odd or should be looked into for a cause or treatment. Anyone out there have this problem and if so what is it and how is it treated? HELP PLEASE.
