Recovery from alcholism

Hi, I am sweetjoanne. Today has been very stressful for me. I have been in a lot of pain with a blood clot in my left leg. I can't give up! It is hard to walk and do my housework and take care of my animals. But! I am doing it. I have a strong will to keep going and don't give up the fight in life.
I went to a meeting yesterday. We talked about one day at a time. I believe in that. It seems to work. Don't drink, overeat, or take drugs, that seems to work for me with God help. Their are up's and downs in life. I don't like the downs, but the up's feel real great. I guess where there is no pain their is no pleasure in life. We have to surender what life hands us to are Higher Power.
God, has never let me down yet! I make phone calls that seems to help. It not so hard when I talk to another recoverying alcoholic. I hope you have a great day.
