Dr. Jonathan Scher - Miscarriage Specialist in NYC - any experience?

0 Recommendations

I have heard about this doctor, Dr. Jonathan Scher in NYC, who is an expert on miscarriages. I am currently going through my third loss with no answers. I've already had some testing done where they basically didn't find anything. I read on another chat board (UrbanBaby.com) that Dr. Scher is supposed to be fantastic at diagnosing/preventing miscarriages.

I called his office for an appointment, and he charges $1000 for the first visit, and $500 to find out test results. This sounded outrageous to me, but I would do it if he truly can do what I've read.

I'm wondering if anyone here has any experience with him?? Much appreciated.

I thought of going and even booked an appointment with him, but the receptionist messed it up and on the day I was told I did not come up in the system...
Given this mess up and the fact that it would have taken another month and half for a new appointment, I went to Cornell.
Also the price sounded crazy...
Had 3 losses myself so am interested in knowing if he s worth the money.
Good luck xx

Wow, for that price it is insane to have that kind of mix-up! How did you feel about Cornell? I'm thinking of using them, too.

yes,he is worth every penny, and more.

Bonnie222, can you give some details? I'd like to hear about your experience.
