This one is in my daughter's Seka own words from the CaringBridge web site!!!

Once again it’s been forever since I’ve written, but I’ve been feeling ill and the days I do feel well I’ve been trying to spend time on getting our financials and things like that in order. I hate to do it, but it has to be done. The last time I wrote, I left the hospital on the 17th of July only to be admitted back on the 29th. During that stay, they replaced my stent with a metal one. The original one was plastic and not strong enough. I was discharged on August 2nd and even though I was doing well with recovery while in the hospital, once I got home, I seemed to go downhill for a few days. I couldn’t eat anything and was even having trouble drinking fluids. Anytime I’d drink any type of beverage, I’d get a belly full of air and just could not seem to do anything, even burp, to get that uncomfortable feeling to go away. Eventually the air would come up on its own along with anything I had drank. I was also having horrible abdominal pain. The doctors seem to think that the latest tumor they found on my liver is causing my kidney to not function properly which would be the reason for the Jaundice, tiredness, pain, nausea, vomiting. I also have a tumor in my abdomen.
Thursday I went back to see my doctor and gave me another round of chemo. At this point, he’s leaving it up to me if I want to continue with the chemo. He doesn’t seem very confident that it’s making a difference at this point. I’ve chosen to continue for now. My doctor has given me some new pills that seem to be helping with eating. I actually ate real solid food on Thursday afternoon for the first time in weeks. He also gave me some new pain medication which seems to me helping, but all the pharmacies are low on supplies and we had to place an order which will take a week to come in.
That’s all for now….what can I say, some days are goo and others are bad. Today happens to be a pretty good day. I’ll do my best to keep everyone updated, but I can’t say that I enjoy writing here so much lately when there is not a lot of good news. But I keep hoping and praying….

Sincerely, Seka’s mom, Rada
