Hello everybody!I want to know if any of u have noticed any connection between seizures and full moon.Some of u may laugh..but its ok.Another thing is if anyone did stem cell therapy in WU STEM CELLS MEDICAL CENTER(CHINA),NEUROVITA(RUSSIA),HADASSAH MEDICAL CENTER(ISRAEL),KOLN(GERMANY),MEDRA STEM CELLS THERAPY,DUKE(USA) or anywhere else and about the results.Here in Greece doctors are negative in that subject,they believe that we should wait,that the boy is too young(6,5 years),that his brain has many opportunities and things to show...but i dont know..smtms i feel that time s running and that those years just after E are very crusial...Last one..when u have no seizures for 6 months and a clear eeg after 3 years of many eegs with waves of peaks frontal-central and right etc and everything is perfect and after that in a period of 3 months make 5-6 seizures total.in the midtime raise medicine and after raising did again.no weight gain.is there any explanation for that?I have the sense that medicines have nothing to do with that..if it is the time to do seizure he ll do..his doctor told to raise again after the last episode,but i didnt.maybe its bad what i did,but i wanted to check that about medicines..and 3 weeks now he is clear.if the medicine was low according to the doctor he should have had another..am i wrong?Please answer me those questions..its very hard to find people like u here and some matters cant be discussed with doctors better than survivors!!!

Okay, in my opinion (and this is definitely not scientific, but).... after numerous years in a neurology clinic I can tell you that we definitely heard from our seizure patients more often when it was a full moon. Maybe it was a fluke, but it happened.
Anyone who has a seizure disorder can go for long periods of time, even years, without having a seizure and then suddenly start having them again. I don't know why it happens, I just know it does.
A normal (clear) EEG does not prove you do not have a seizure disorder. It does indicate either your seizures are controlled or that you didn't have a seizure at the time of or just prior to the EEG.
Medication works sort of like a dam works in that it holds back a seizure or lessens the severity of a seizure, but it does not cause a seizure. If your level is low it is more likely that the medication will be unable to hold back the seizure or that the seizure will be more severe. Again, that is a very unscientific explaination.
