Cognition and Technology (CogniTech)

Hello everybody!
Couldent find any good topic for this, so I choosed this. Have Introduce my senf severel times in the "old" encephalitis-global discussion.

Now it is the man from Swedish again. Anybody remember me? As I use to say, hope you understand my english.

I am now feeling well and therefor I have been sitting here all by my self L. Although I have this problemes, that for exampel make my english even get bader and I am tired, I have to send this message.

I can´t remember, but have I sad that I am in this prodjekt, Cognition and Technology (CogniTech)? Here is a little about it:

I have been in two prodjekt in CogniTech. The first is to help peapel that, for some kind of head injuries, have problem to find the way from A to B and then walk. I have problem for that. To get help for that we used Fujitsu Siemens Pocket Loox N100. It is not that big so you can have it whith you everytime. It was a very good occupational therapist, that I met before, that did this prodjekt. I can say that white Loox N100 you can do VERY mutch things! Use the pen, go oraund the map whith the pen, klick here and here, zoom, make “frome this place and to this place”, say where you want and it start etc. I think that the conclusion is that it is very good to help persons that have the problem that I have.

The next prodjekt is to help a person that have problem for exampel names, recognize people, remember what to do, when you have done that, etc. We yous SonyEricsson P990i smartphone and it helped me very mutch. To tired to write more, but can say that this was a very good prodjekt.

Must tell you this. CogniTech wanted to interview tre people that have been in this prodjekt and I am one of them! There will be a some kind of brochure abou me! Cool ha?!

Now 29-30 maj 2008 there will be a conference about Cognition and Technology and after that it is en of the prodjekt Cognition and Technology. It is for:
“Persons in municipalities, county councils and other similar activities interested of ADHD and acquired braininjury.”
I am none of this, but I still woude like to bee there. Have taked to the women that interview me about that and she sad that she should taked to them about thit. There come a email frome here and she sade that I shoud take to my occupational therapist or contakt one of the women in SIAT that has hand of this prodjekt. Have taked to my occupational therapist and we desited that I should send a email to the women she wrote. I havent got anny anser, but there have been easter now, but hope I got a anser soon. She also sad that I could call. If I don’t get anny anser soon I think I do that.

Whoud like to write more about the prodjekts, but cant do in now. Are tired.

I'm so happy you figured out how to post a message here. Sounds like you been helping a lot of doctors research brain illnesses. There are a few things you've been doing that I wish I had the oppotunity to have done, like remembering names.

Thanks a lot! Bust tell! I was looking at the television news an suddenly it happend, I got my kind of epilepsy! Suddelly "I-know-that-I-dont-know" were I am, whay I am here, etc, but slowly it get better and better. It was 1 month last I have this! But it's another problem whit my epilepsy and that's about the medicine. Have now time to write about it now.

Haven't told about where I am! I am alone at my fathers, feel bad and my big sisters TWO cats are here because she is in the Alps in France! Promise not to laugh, otherwise...

It was not pland, but I had to spend the easter whith two cats. I am now in Osby were I lived till I was 20 and then i moved to Lund and I am still here.

I am in a Second Hand here in Lund. Very nice.

I am there tre and a half hours monday, wensday and friday. That means 10 hours each weeks and if that gets well we kontakt a man in employment service (correct word?) that have as jobb to help peapel whint different functional disability to get a jobb. Have meet him and he is very good!

Now man father come home! Wonder way he come alone? My mother doesn't exist anymore....... but she will be in my heart forever.

Maby shall see this. Two years he met a woman that also been alone for some years. It take about one hour to drive to here. Dont know way they dont live together, he is ther very mutch. They have been together for some years.

Must eat.

I hasn't told about that there in the prodjekt CogniTech - Cognition and Technology (in Swedish KogniTek - Kognition och Teknik) will be a brochure that act about me! They have been here and interview me about my life, describe about problems i have (take some example), way I have it, how I help me and what help I get, my technical aids I use that is from the prodjekt etc. Last Monday my occupational therapist phone me and sad, "Hello Kristoffer. This weak there is a men from CogniTech here. He is here to take photos and film the persons that is in the prodjekt and want to come to you. I thought, "What! Take photos and film me!". We started to talk to each other. One thing she sad was this,"One thing we will have is a photo of you is in your brochure. As you know you have some problem and one is to recognize peopel. There will in the brochure be a pickter of you out waking in the city. One person you meet is a blurred picture so you cant see how it is although you know that you know that person. When do you have time for that?". We decided Thursday 2 pm, i.e. tomorrow.

They will also be in my tenement and i will show how I can use SonyEricsson P990i smartphone and Fujitsu Siemens Pocket Loox N100 as aid. If you wonder I use Fujitsu Siemens Pocket Loox N100 also at home.

I was in The Swedish Institute of Assistive Technology homepage and looked at where ther is description of the conference that is 29-30 May. There stands:
"There will be a small exhibition where the seven part projects present their results to be shown in connection with the conference." There will bee about me, whit my name!

I have cleaned the apartment very careful.

Well, what do you think about this? Think all person that will look about me! Please, hold the thumbs that everything will be good!

Wonders if I can sleep. Maybe I have to use a torpor medicine....

Now I'm back again. Can start to say, we were out 2,5 hours to mostly film but also toke some pictures of me!! It was me, my occupational therapist and a men that filmed and took pictures of me! In the beginning me and my occupational therapist was sitting at a cafe outdoors and talk about my problem, mostly my problem to recognize people and their names. We also talked about my Sony Ericsson P990i 3G smartphone. Here it is in Sony Ericsson homepage:

I can do VERY MUTCH that help me. All this was filmed.
We also film me out waking in the city. They wanted that I meet a person that sad "Hallo" to me. I also would say that but couldn't recognize how it was. After several experiments we found a person that would say it.

Was also at my apartment and looked when my P990i communicated with my computer.

Filmed also a littel bit more.

Well, have to wait till it is ready. In Sweden we have this proverb, "That day, that sorrow". Understand what i mean? You have some proverb whith the same meaning, "Don't cross the bridge till you come to it."
