Hi Wendy,
I hope you are well. I am not sure where to post this link, so I am sending it to you in the hope you will no where to put it, so it gets maximum exposure. It is an episode of Mystery Diagnosis on Discovery Health Channel and is called The woman who went crazy. It will air on Aug 31, Sept 1 and 5, and will deal with the newly identified Anti-NMDA Receptor encephalitis

Dear Laura mom,
I was so happy to see that you were able to see the show. My daughter too was diagnosed with Anti NMDA Receptor Encephalitis. My message to you is do not give up hope. I do not know where you are at concerning your daughter, but I do know that things, even when they look really bad, can get better.
Feel free to write me, if you need to.

Hi Ingrid,
I hope you had a chance to see the show, because I do not have that channel. I am waiting to receive a taped copy, from another mother whose daughter was affected. I hope you had a chance to watch it. I am looking forward to hearing your impressions. Thanks

Hi all,
I missed this episode, and as someone who had an undiagnosed form of encephalitis, I would be really interested in seeing it. (When I got sick, this condition was not well researched.) Is there anyway anyone could upload it or send a tape?
Thanks,
Hannah

Hi HSW,
Let me know if you get a reply. I too am interested in seeing this episode and was not able to watch it, as I don't get that channel.
Thank you.

My son was diagnosed with anti NMDA antibodies last Dec. I have many Questions and no answers. Please help. Have you fully recoverd. I missed somthing everyone is talking abot an episode I feel like I need to see this. How can I see it? My baby is 2 years old and I worry about a relapse. He has been symptom free for several monthes now I pray that it stays that way.

Dear Lynnzbopper,

The episode in question was on the show Mystery Diagnosis. It was shown on Sept 1 I believe and is entitled The Woman who went crazy. I am still trying to get a copy myself. It was shown on the Discovery Health Channel.

Please read my article about my experience with ANTI-NMDA receptor encephalitis.
