Fun ideas for learning

0 Recommendations

I would love to have some ideas on fun and creative ideas for preschool topics. My little one is 4 and does not like anything to do with a pencil or crayons. She will paint for 2 seconds and then is off. She loves manipulatives, books and music.
Thanks

A great way to get him/her interested in crayons or pencils is to use the triangle pencil grip- it is easier for them to hold, and also use an upright easle. Then they can draw with chalk and they can erase easily as well.

The computer! There are some GREAT kids games (that are also educationally based) that are fun, easy to navigate and I found with my son, who is now 17, that the computer comes in MORE handy for practical uses (teaching reading, writing, he does his school reports on it, it's helped so that now he is good with myspace and texting on cell phones too --which is what ALL teenagers do these days.
