Median arcuate ligament release--but wife is no better

Hi, all--

My wife has had idiopathic gastroparesis since Oct. 2010 (after a lap gallbladder removal; still convinced the surgeon botched it). Apr 18 of this year, she had a median arcuate ligament release...but no real resolution of symptoms. The surgeon said it could take awhile for there to be an effect, if there will even be one. Has anyone had experience with this procedure? How long did it take for you to experience any resolution of symptoms? Sorry for the short message; typing with one hand. Sad to say I broke my hand in frustration (dumb, I know, but at least now something besides my heart is broken).
