I talked with my sister, Melinda, regarding my 4 lbs weight gain last week. After talking with her I realized that it is my own fault, apparently. I showed her my food diary and told her about my workout schedule. She said that I wasn't eating enough. She said that the reason I lost weight was because I was starving myself...one meal and one snack a day. It didn't feel as though I was starving myself. She said that I really never lost that weight, my fat cells just shrank. So, once I ate that Chinese food my fat cells expanded back to size. My sister says this information is Dieting 101. My bad...I had no idea. Have you guys heard of this phenomena?
Anyway, what a bummer. Here I thought I was losing weight and wasn't at all. You know what? I should know better. Well, you live and learn...and boy did I ever learn my lesson. One meal and snack a day just won't cut it.
