I just got a prescription for xenical and took it to the pharmacy to fill. They were trying to push Alli on me. I just really want something that will definately work and not a substitute. They told me that it was Identical! That I should buy Alli because of the price but just double up the dosage. Can someone tell me anything about these and which one worked for them and how long it takes to see results on either? Thanks

my husband uses alli and he is doing really good with it. you just can't be eating too much fat or you get diarhea. they call it the treatment effect. but he has lost 20 pounds since the 3rd week of January. you also need to take a multivitamin with it. they also have a great website with a full plan of meals and recipes and diet tips. you need to get the starter pack to be on the website. but he is doing great on it and he likes it and it keeps him in line with his eating. if you know you're going to have a fatty meal, don't take the pill, it will be montezumas revenge. i take relacore, but that helps more for nerves than eating. but it helps me because i am a nervous eater, and i have lost 15 pounds since starting these. they are so much cheaper than alli. hope this helps, good luck
