Pick Myself Back Up

0 Recommendations

For the last 3 days I havent been doing so well. I skipped the gym( Just didnt feel like going). That made me eat the wrong things! Its hard to find the motivation sometimes! The key for me is to pick myself up, we all fall. Is there anyone who wants to share a down time or times? It will help us all because I know I am not alone.

Falls

I havent been on here those days of my down fall. I want to ask something new, If your like me and have down falls come on here! Say what your feeling!

WE ALL HAVE ARE DOWN FALLS, BUT WE HAVE TO KEEP TRYING, JUST REMEBER TOMMOROW IS A NEW DAY!

Been there done that. I am just getting over a fall down. But I know sometimes life throws you a curve, What we do when that happens is what counts. Today is a new day. Never give up

Everyday is a new beginning - a chance to do better than the day before. I always think - no matter what I did yesterday - it is now officially over and done with and I can have a good day today. I try to learn from mistakes I might have made - like putting myself in situations that calls back old and bad behaviors. (eating in front of the TV or computer) I try to change behavior and hopefully old and not so good habits. I can live with having a bit of an off day - but what I can't live with is multiple days like that and bad habits - because that undoes all of the hard work I have done to get where I am. We can't be perfect and I can accept that - but I just don't what to go back to my old ways. So, I think we have to continually monitor what we are doing, plan and always go forward.

I've had more downfalls than I like to think about. But Ei is right, you just have to put that behind you and take the next day as a new beginning. The worst thing is when your downfall lasts a long time. A few weeks ago I hit a plateau. I mean, I was eating the right things, exercising, but my weight loss just stopped. And that made me depressed and that made me go back to my bad ways. I've come out of it now and am being sensible again, but it's so, so easy to let go of what you've achieved and go backwards. I have to keep a constant eye on myself or I just don't progress.
