OK - Good morning everyone - I am starting this post and just hope I can keep it up till New Years -

CHALLANGE

We shall post our distance traveled untill 1-1-10 - We are going to see just how far each of does travel for fittness - This means no vehicles or moterized travel allowed - sneaky hugh - But weather you walk, run, jog, crawl, keep track of those miles and post along they way to keep each other motivated -

What a fun idea!

Hi - I have been recording my running/walking since the end of February for the 500 mile challenge that was posted up here. Since then I have gone 646 miles.
I hope to do 1000 miles next year and plan to post a 1000 mile challenge for the new year. I think your idea is a great one! These are such doable and inspirational challenges - they get everyone moving and that is just so important!

I'm adding mine in early because tonite is a definite walk nite... 4.5 miles with hills! Current total: 4.5! Donna

This is a great idea Ruth! I will need a pedometer but I can estimate it until then so I don't have any excuses!

Put in my mile for today! I walk all over the city to get to work and home and at work too!

Cool. I keep track of my miles when I exercise, but I don't record my pedometer output. I'll start doing that.
