good job glad no gain. did you eat a lot of treats. i avoided the halloween candy so that felt good. i am going to weigh in on thursday. i will post then. i cannot believe its november. we are gona do this

2bsm - Keep your chin up hun! We all have weeks where we maintain and don't lose. Next week should be fantastic for you!

Halloween candy is always a temptation. And of course there were practically no kids that stopped by my house (I live on the short end of a block and only 2 of the 4 houses offer candy so a lot of kids skip it). So I'm left with kit kats and twix that I really don't need around me! LOL. I had one mini kit kat and felt satisfied. I'm looking forward to seeing your results Lisa! That's great that you were able to resist!

I had a FANTASTIC week this week! I dropped 3.6 pounds and lost 1 inch off my waist and 1 inch off my hips! Woohoo!

Last Week: 299.2
This Week: 295.6
This Week's Loss: 3.6 lbs
Total Loss: 114.4 lbs

Good morning to all. My official scale is the one I use at the gym and due to car problems this past week I have not been at all. Although I have kept up walking at least 2 miles everyday. So I was not looking forward to the scale after Halloween, a family get-together yesterday and eating way too much. But according to my wii weight I am down 2.2 lbs (but remember that was also 11 days from my last weigh in). So at least it was not a gain. I've been ok with what I'm eating, but when I fall I fall hard- doing laundry last night I ate 5 mini-packs of raisinettes- it was like unconcious eating. Sugar gets me like that, need to avoid it.

I am rededicating myself this week. I am going to try and walk the 2 miles during lunch break and go to the gym 5 days this week. I really miss swimming! And I think my eating has been off-(by off I mean I'm munching like crazy) because I have not been drinking enough water. A couple days last week I drank nothing but diet soda-yikes! And I am feeling like pooh for it all. Joints are sore, feet and ankles are swollen. I know I am going to do better this week, I'm gonna make sure of it.
I want to have an aburnett week!! You go girl. Breaking that mark sent you into overdrive. I want that momentum back!
Starting weight 365 (my ymca scale weight-which is about 6 lbs different from my wii)
Todays wii weight 320.
I hate all these different scales- lol!

Congrats on the loss Tasuan! And I'm proud of you for rededicating yourself! We all need to do that on a regular basis. Assess where we are, what we're doing, and where we're going. It sounds like you have a good plan!

And thanks for the encouragement! Seeing that "2" really did kick me into gear. I'm hoping for another great week and I know you'll have a great week with your plan of action!!

JUDY- YOU HAVE DONE A GREAT JOB OF MAINTAINING. I KNOW YOU WILL BE RIGHT BACK ON TRACK.

LISA- I LOOK FORWARD TO HEARING YOUR RESULTS, I KNOW YOU'LL DO GREAT. GREAT JOB ON AVOIDING THE SWEETS. IT DOESN'T TAKE MUCH TO SLOW THINGS DOWN.

ABURNETT-AWESOME!!!!!!! I LOVE THAT YOU ATE ONE TREAT AND WAS SATISFIED AND HAD A GREAT WEEK.

TASAUN-GREAT JOB ON YOUR LOSS. I'M WITH YOU I WANT AN ABURNETT WEEK ALSO. HERES TO A GREAT WEEK.

Don't jinx me! LOL. I want to have an "aburnett week" this week too! :c)

i hope we all have great weigh ins. . 2009 has been good for weightloss and next year is gona be even better

HELLO EVERYBODY!

WEEK BEFORE LAST: 352
TODAY: 352
TOTAL: 20

I AM DISGUSTED! EVERYONE HAVE A GREAT WEEK!

perk68- Do you keep a food journal? Maybe you can switch things up a little bit? I'm revaluating things myself. my hang up is I don't want to lose too fast . This is the first time in many years I have kept any loss off. even if it is only 26 pounds.(Usually i would lose well then gain it and more back.) If I make too big of a change with alot of restrictions I know in a few months I will be right back where I was. But there is always room for improvement. I just have to be honest with myself. Those little bites here and there do add up. I caught myself with that this week.

You've kept 20 off. now you just need to take a good look at what you're doing and see if theres anything you see that needs tweaked.

we are in this together. we can help each other. if you would like to chat send me a friend request. do you like challenges? I challenge you and me to a 2 pound loss this week. what do you think? I think I better get busy. haha

Lisa - You're right! 2009 was great and 2010 will be even better!

Perk - It sounds like you've definitely hit a plateau. Keep eating right and staying active...you'll get through this tough time. And remember that we're here for you! And 2bsm is right. Be proud of the 20 that you have lost and kept off! And a food/fitness journal is definitely an important tool!

I think we should all take that 2 pound challenge! I'm in! Let's do it!!

Yep!
It is a Good life...as long as we dont weaken!
Peace,
Bo

Hello Gang -

I'm a bit late this week -
Weight held at 227 - Measurements are down 3 1/2 inches though -

Did real well with the candy - UNTILL I woke up at 1 am and gave in - 3 little snickers and some M&M later I went back to sleep very dissapointed in my self -

Been working on developing menu's - Dr. wants me to increase my cal. from 1200 to 1500 daily - I have been having trouble - I want to encrease veggie, fruit and protien - I went astray and eaten more carbs - So I will try harder this week -

Exercise has been a bit messed up sense last Wednesday - Hurt my shoulder then seemed to spread to neck and down through hip - Made it to the criopractor sp. yesterday - I have a very safe shoulder and neck (they are all locked up) hahaha - Any way - only workout allowed is walking stuff and water arobics as long as I don't over do arms - I go back tomorow so he can check again - He did say he didn't think I had overdone the working out as much as he thought I have to work on relieving stress - I guess there are different types of rock hard bodies - one being healthy muscel and mine just knots all over -

Later Ruth

RUTH- DON'T EVER LOSE YOUR SENSE OF HUMOR. I LOVE IT, YOU ALWAYS HAVE A CUTE WAY WITH WORDS.

GREAT JOB ON THE INCHES. I HOPE YOU GET TO FEELING BETTER SOON. WALKING IN THE POOL IS GREAT. GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR MENU, I KNOW YOU'LL GET IT FIGURED OUT.

Using move free (Glucosamine Condrotin) helped me wiht my frozen shoulder and hip I'm a firm believer in it. Since I started taking it 10 years ago I'm Arthritis free. It did take about 2 weeks for it to have and effect but now they have the Liquid form should work faster. Hope this info helps. Sincerely Bill

Only ate 2 nestle crunch Mini Bars all evening. Not to bad considering that Chocolate is my consuming passion. Walking around the neighborhood before the trick or treating began probably negated the calories if not I'm not loosing sleep over it

Ruth - Congratulations on losing the inches! It's strange but that does happen from time to time (the weight not budging but the inches melting away). Good job! I tried the 1200 calorie thing and I actually ended up gaining weight. I think my body freaked out and held on to whatever it could. I tried a few things and have found the most success at 1600 calories. So give the 1500 a try and see how it works! Walking and water aerobics are great exercises and will be easier on your body...sounds like a good plan!

OK I'm in on your 2 lb challenge! The end of the year is closing in and I am gonna break through the 3's to the 2's by year end (and make it through Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years) LOL!

So far, having a great week. Made it to the gym last night, walked my 2 miles today and working out tonight. My knees hate this cold weather!

You will reach your goals tasuan! And congrats on having a good workout week! I can't wait to see how everyone does on the challenge!
