Kenneth Getz is the author of a wonderful book entitled "The Gift of Participation" which is a guide to making informed decisions about volunteering for a clinical trial. With a foreword written by Congressman Rick Boucher of Virginia and a back cover endorsement from Tour de France winner and cancer survivor Lance Armstrong, this book offers a road map into a world many readers are just beginning to explore. I have this book and can highly recommend it.

As I believe I have written before - I DO participate in clinical trials. But no one should do this blindly. You should be fully informed before you make any decision.

This book will be helpful to anyone considering volunteering for a clinical trial.
