After feeling completely well in the later part of 2010, I thought this was all gone, and my Epstein Barr Virus blood work results appeared to show the virus became dormant. I started over doing it ( which means I went back to my normal active life ) and then had a post holiday flare of my symptoms that lasted up until yesterday. Swollen glands, achy muscles and horrible fatigue for three weeks. I woke up yesterday and felt wonderful again. All symptoms gone and today so far I still feel good. I did start pacing again as soon as I felt the first swollen gland, and cut out the sugar again as soon as I did not feel well. I do not know if it all caught up or I just slept so well that one night before feeling good. It is mystifying to me how you can just have a great day and I go around announcing it to the family. I never get the enthusiasm that I expect. My husband said that looking at me I look the same as any other day. What is it that kicks in to give you back your energy where you can feel so normal in one day? I have never gone through anything like this and when I feel good, I go over in my head what I ate, what I did, etc. trying ot make sense of this ailment. I know that for three days before, I napped in the afternoon when I felt that exhaustion hit. Could this all be about sleep? I never lived so carefully and I feel this is becoming a full time job to feel good. There has to be a clear cut answer what is happening to all of us, and I am hopeful we will get the answers soon. One thing I know and can recommend to anyone sleeping with a husband that snores or tosses and turns in his sleep..get some sleep in another room on a regular basis. Sue
