Traveling the King's Highway - Quite a bumpy road - with a lot of stress

Hi to all my friends,
We had some "interesting" episodes with our grandaughter and her friends yesterday and today - won't get into details, but it was quite hectic. This morning I grabbed my heart medications right after I got up as my B/P and heart rate were climbing. God must have helped me get the right balance, as I did pretty good all day - not too high - not to low. My husband dropped me off at church and had to go home to respond to what was happening. I need to stay, as I was teaching Sunday School and taking care of church service. He got back just as I was ready for the message - we did a dialogue on the Lord's prayer - and some short thoughts afterward.
There is a special site that I really like, as it has a lot of inspiration. You can find it by typing in Deer Lake Inspiration or Father's Hands. You'll find things that are comforting, comical and inspirational. The folks in church really got into it and there were quite a few chuckles and some laughs.
When I got home I went to bed, listened to a favorite CD and fell asleep when I was on track 5. The CD played through and shut off. I woke up and started it at track 2 and fell asleep again by track 5. Some of my favorites are after track 5, so I guess I'll have to listen when I am fully away. It's a CD from Calvary Chapel and is so soothing. - Soothed away those bumpy roads. One of our daughters came over to help my husband out and took our grandaughter with her for the day. The she and her husband came so he could do some repairs that were needed. Our grandaughter won't be here tonight, and if she wants to come back, we have to decide if we'll let her or if we will just tighten up the rules. I doubt that she will accept the rules, but that will be her only choice. She'll soon be 19, and some tough love is in order.
I just pray God will give us the wisdom we need. As even employees I have supervised in the past, they and our children and grands all know I'm tough, but fair. The only problem now is that I cannot allow stressful situations in my house. Then I won't be around for anyone. She doesn't mouth or sass at all, even when confronted, but she doesn't realize the seriousness of her actions.
Our oldest grandaughter turned 25 yesterday; she's the one that has given me the great-grandsons. She has a 10 year old stepson plus the baby. She's really hoping we move so we'll be closer. She lives in York, about an hour from where we will be living. We'll only be 10 minutes from her parents house. Her other grandparents are retiring, so she said we'll be able to hang out together. We get along real well with them, and we can always count on a ride to see the baby.
Now I just need the energy to get this ole house cleaned out. God is so good - He'll see us through! Blessings to all! Hugs from Great-gram
