I have had a crazy last few weeks.....months.....years. My wife collapsed and died suddenly 5th October 2000 while warming up to play basketball at age 38. The coroner put this down to "sudden unexplained death probably due to epilepsy". July of 2004 my 10 yo daughter collapesed within metres of where her mother died but fortunately came around, this was her first of a cluster of cardiac episodes diagnosed as CPVT an ICD was implanted in August 2004. The other three of my children were tested and one of my daughters Danielle was confirmed at risk and was put on beta blockers, September 15th 2009 at age 13 she also collapsed at school and has now also had an ICD implant 24th September 2009, she is home now and doing well physically at least.
