Hi everyone, My name is Darline and I and 28 years old with a 6 year old son. My heart issues started in febuary of this year. I woke up one night at 3:00am. I was feeling sick to my stomach, flushed, sweaty and I started to get realy hot. Before i knew it my heart was pounding so hard and fast. I felt dizzy, I felt like I could not breath and it just kept getting worse. I came very close to passing out I thought i was going to die. I kept praying to Jesus to get me through that night. I was rushed to the hospital that night only to go back home afraid it was going to happen again. I went to and E.P. doctor and was told i have P.S.V.T. I had an ablation done april 7th. I thought it was all over but i was wrong. Three days later I had another episode. My doctor put me on an event moniter for thirty days. I had a couple more episodes and then was diagnosed with inappropriate sinus tachy. I was tested for all kinds of things to find out what was causing it because i.s.t. most of the time is caused by other conditions and they found nothing. I was put on toprol 25mg and stoped taking it after three days. the side effects are horrible. 10 months and lots of tests and hospital visits and episodes later i am still going throuth this. I have panic attacks and anxiety but its has been getting better . This has taken control of my life. if i didnt have my faith i would have lost my mind!! I have an appointment with a new e.p. doctor who is supposed to be realy good. I hope he can do something for my so i can take back control of my life. This experiance has not been all bad for me. I look at life alot different and i dont take things for granted. I also had to go deeper in my faith to find strength. I almost forgot I have been having heart palpitations every day allmost all the time for six weeks and sometimes chest pain. I know having heart trouble is hard to deal, but we have to stay positive as hard as it is some times. God bless all of you. P.S. if anyone has this please tell me how you treat it and what do you do to deal with it.
