Lots of stuff out there about long QT's and various antidepressants. I am currently trying to figure out meds to alleviate this interaction. Others have ideas?

I am still new to this whole long qt thing, but I do know my cardiologist warned me very strongly about antidepresent drugs. He thought they might put me on them for my pain management. I have been strongly warned by every doctor I have to check with my cardiologist before I take any medications or have any medical tests or treatements.
So my advice would be call your cardiologist and ask. If your mind is still not relieve you might check with your primary care physician, or your pharmacist can be a good resourse. Below is a site I found that lists drugs that cause problems for LQT patients.

I hope this helps.
It is my understanding that cymbalta does not affect the qt . please check on theis . i am pretty sure that lexapro ,effexor ,paxil ,and prozac are not good . Please ask your doctor . watch out for the pain meds too!
