I found on the NIH website that for anyone with IST they are doing research.(only until 2010) I have called. The doctor did call me back and we have set up an appointment for this saturday to talk about what they are doing and what is up with me. It looks like i have to go in for another ablation soon anyway. The research hosiptial is in Oklahoma. I know that i am setting myself up as a lab rat, but i am at the point of if i can help others at all, then i am willing to do it. but, i'm not sure if they can use me. but it would be fun to get out of Idaho. I hope that they can use me. due to i have been through 6 years of this stuff. 3 and a half years of drug trials, about 3 ablations & 2 e.p. studies. LOTS of FUN!!! Anyway, i just thought that i would put it out there. If you look at the NIH web site and if you are willing to be a gunia pig. You might be able to find some sort of study for what you are having to fight with every day!!! you never know, Some doctor might be able to help you, or, you might be able to help others from the testing that they will be doing on you. doesn't sound fun, but I thought it would be worth putting out there..
thanks Tuffy

Hi Tuffy!
How did you find out about this trial? How long do you have to live in Oklahoma?

A friend had his son in the Mayo Hospital due to some issues with his neck. He told me to look up the NIH web site to find out if they are doing some studies with my heart condition... so this is what we found.....

If you go to this web site you will find all the information that you need. including the Dr's name , her Phone # and her e-mail address. so far as I know it will only be one to two days max. There is a treadmill test and then the ablation. Then you are out of there. Dr Lockheart is doing some really advance stuff to get rid of the IST. it involves nerve sheaths and cells. AMAZING stuff!!! I hope this is helpful!! Good luck!

Thanks!
