The second annual Superstar Family Fun Day and Mason Mile Run/Walk will take place on Saturday, October 17th, from 9am - 12 AM at Key Elementary School, 2300 Key Boulevard, Arlington, VA. Rain or shine! The "Mason Mile" will start at 9:30 am. This is a FREE event, with optional donations to benefit Key School, Children's National Medical Center, DKMS, Arlington Food Assistance Center and the Animal Welfare League of Arlington.

Superstar Family Fun Day will consist of outdoor activities for the whole family, music, snacks, and the main event the "Mason Mile", a one-mile road run/walk down Key Boulevard.

To help others battling cancer and other illnesses, the event will also host a blood drive and a bone marrow donor drive for eligible donors. The Children's National Medical Center Blood Mobile and the DKMS Bone Marrow Donor Drive are an important part of the day's events.

The Superstar Family Fun Day and "Mason Mile" are held in the memory of Mason Leach, a five year-old Key School student who passed away from brain cancer in 2007. This event is sponsored by the Key School PTA to honor and support the community who helped Mason during his illness.
