My 6 year old son was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma on 9/19/09. He was in his second week of 1st grade.
He is starting his second week of Radiation Therapy (he will have it M-F for 6 weeks) this week and I'm looking for some advice on attending school during radiation.
Including travel, treatment and post anasthesia wake up he misses school from 8-12:30. School ends at 2:50. His teacher does tutor him after school.
Did you have your child go to school during radiation?
