Any ependymomas out there?

0 Recommendations

My oldest son is 14 and was diagnosed with myxopapillary ependymoma on June 11, 2009. He had spinal surgery to remove the tumors but they couldn't get all of the second one so he starts proton radiation next week. I can't find much info. about this kind of cancer and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with it...

Hello! I just joined because I saw your post. My son was just diagnosed with myxopapillary endymoma and had spinal surgery to remove the largest one....it was 5 inches long. He is 11. It showed signs of cancer. Another surgery is set up to remove the other two, then radiation. This is all new to us..........this all just happened 15 days ago.
Please right back......my name is Kathy
