Asparagus and Cancer

While we were waiting to see the doctor yesterday a woman approached me and handed me a piece of paper. On the paper she had written "sparragus (to cure) against cancer." She told me that I should go home and research on the internet because someone once gave her this information, and yesterday they had gotten the news that her sister's lung tumor had shrunk since she began on the Asparagus diet. I did research it and discovered that Asparagus as a cure for cancer was published in a cancer journal in 1979. Asparagus therapy consists of 4 tablespoons of cooked Asparagus puree morning and night. I will start my mother on the Asparagus therapy tomorrow or Monday and I will report the results to anyone who is interested. I am also interested in hearing about anyone else's past experiences with Asparagus therapy. Thanks!
