It's already been 90 days from my transplant date and time for rechecks at M D Anderson. My best friend Ruby took me back down to see the transplant oncologist and the lymphoma specialist. We had to start with lab work and then a full set of CT scans. Afterward we visited with the doctors and both gave me good reports. My CT scans showed "no evidence of disease" and my blood work for this stage of my transplant is looking great. The doctors are very pleased with where I'm at. God is good and prayers have been answered. I'm still under the "caution umbrella" with all of this flu going around but that is okay. We'll go back in 3 months for another check up. In the meantime I see my oncologist here, in Denton every month for labs. I'm hanging in there and learning to live my "new normal". Thank you to all of my Inspire friends for your continued prayers, support, and words of wisdom. We are here for each other to "Inspire".
Blessings,
Joy
