I understand everything that your sister is going through. I was diagnosed with apl lukemia in March 2008. There are many different challenges that I had to go through and I wouldnt have made it without the help of my mother. The best advice that I can give her is to hang in there, it definately isnt going to be easy but be strong.
And as far as advice to you, be there for her, encourage her and dont be negative. Ask the dr. as many questions as you can think of. No question is a bad question.

I hope this helps some. If you or her want to talk more or have any other questions feel free to contact me anytime @ irish_lady_270@yahoo.com

Take care,
Jess
