You people are so awesome. Thank you for writing me. I feel better every time I read one of your emails. I am still healing from my operation so that maybe why I go up and down. I think I start chemo in june. My doctor said I will go for half of the chemo and then a break and then half radiation. Another break chemo break and the last of radiation. I have this feeling I am going to be okay. It is just the unknown. Glad to hear you are doing good. Keep in touch. Thank you. Gloria

No problem Gloria, while I did not have the same cancer, I did have the chemo for 6 months straight, I never got sick, little nausea, but the meds they give you now are so good, they keep the nausea away and they can give you extra ones too. I tried to keep eating a little food and drink water and whatever, so keep it up and keep in touch, my email is LKW101@aol.com, me cell is 832-633-5760, you can always call or email, I do apartment locating here in Houston, so my voice mail is always busy, but I will call youb back.

Keep the faith

It rocks your world and its ok to be consumed for awhile. Not to worry once you start treatments and learn more it will not be so all consuming. Go ahead and scream and cry and have a good ole tatrum and then breathe. I have been through breast cancer and just finished chemo for colon. they were barely 2 years apart. believe I HAD MY MOMENTS! Your team of drs and nurses are the loving, kind, patient team you will ever meet ask questions they are no wrong questions. you can go ahead and see what the treatments are like they will be glad to give you a tour.my prayers are with you and do not forget to ask the lord to hold your hand. hugs carol

I was diagnosed with stage IV ovarian cancer a little over a year ago and was scared out of my mind. I thought my life was over. Thanks to modern chemo, prayer and the support of good friends, I am in remission and enjoying life as never before. Take advantage of all the alternative and complementary medicines for cancer. They will help you get into remission faster and with fewer side effects. I would also recommend a little book written by Dodie Osteen, mother of Joel Osteen. She was miraculously healed of cancer, and her book called "Healed of Cancer" lists all the Bible verses she read every day.
