Yesterday I came home to find the "Early Fall" Coldwater Creek Catalog in my mailbox... I have always loved Coldwater Creek! I completed a few task and sit down to relax and review the catalog and what did I find? Cover Page has a fold out to support "Breast Cancer" to come in and for every article of clothing that is tried on September 13th they will donate $1 to the Susan G. Komen! I know I am only one person but I immediately sent an email to customer service telling them they should respect the fact that this was OVC Awareness month and how we needed support also and advertisements to educate about OVC. I asked them to remove me from the mailing list.!

HA! Isn't it amazing. I tend to avoid any Komen fundraisers. I became especially bitter when my father died from lung cancer earlier this year when you look at numbers and see how little funding ovarian, lung and other cancers get.

I just believe we have to stand up and say to all those supporting other cancers...HEY we are here also, I feel like Ovarian Cancer is invisible. I'm going on a local radio talk show Thursday and give out OVC information...
