On June 28th, 2009, my sweet mom went into SCA one day prior to her defib/pacemaker surgery right after Church. She has an ABI. She was w/o oxygen for 20+ minutes. She went into a coma, came out of after 9 days.
Currently she is lethargic. She is slowly improving & we hope and pray that she continues to do.
It seems that each time a doctor gives a doom & gloom report, she does something to prove them wrong.
I know everyone is hurting out here because you are either suffering from a SBI or your loved one is. I'm praying for you all. It's a hurt like none other.
Just keep your hope and faith & keep telling your loved one how much you love and believe in him/her.
