For those with brain injuries, check out Lumosity.com, a wonderful website for stimulating the brain. It has great cognitive exercises and I use it daily for my son Josh, age 22, who suffered from an anoxic brain injury due to a drug and alcohol overdose.

I am for sure going to get my husband working on this site. It looks great! Thank-you for the suggestion!

I would like to hear from someone with firsthand knowledge about Lumosity's potential to bring about bonafide functional improvement, including the nature and extent of improvements made by people with serious TBI, ABI and/or anoxic brain damage who have used Luminosity. I sustained anoxic brain damage due to cardiogenic shock in 2007, augnmented by the long period of severe unnoticed hypotension which had preceded it and the need 2 weeks later to undergo emergency high risk quintuple bypass cardiac surgery with 4+ hours on a heart and lung machine. 7 months later, Just as I was beginning to improve, I sustained another traumatic brain injury in a car accident - my 3rd high speed MVA TBI, actually. The other 2 were head-ons in 1986 and in 1994.
