I am an Ovarian cancer (hopefully)survivor. I have completed Six rounds of Carbo/Taxol & Avastin(over 5 mos) in June '09...My Knee & Hip joints are killing me!
I cannot do stairs , Walking is not much better, and sleeping (in a bed) is becoming unbearable. I have tried all over the counter meds for pain. I have learned that the Chemo / steroids combo can destroy the a (post menopause)women's joints? Any other info out there?

Jump start me, " Diehard " battery analogy. An MRI is more conclusive in showing necrosis, infarctions. Dead is dead bone..replacements are inevitable, at any age, quality life at any age. I cant believe that people are sufficed to believe it's an age factor?? Put Off ? Pain, medication, wheelchair, therapy, cane?? been there, not for long!! Staples removed from my hip for a memorable 40th BD. Later to have it replaced, cuz it popped out exactly 7x ! Then the 8th time, less than a year ago, no stranger to bone pain.
