Interstim lead revision surgery?

0 Recommendations

My leads have moved,I fell down the stairs 2wks after surgery and it was not working any longer. Is recovery time/pain level the same the 2nd time around? I took pain pills the first 3 days the first time,my dr said it may not be bad since the incisions are already there. Also does insurance companies cover this again for the leads moving due to me falling? Thanks!

Well,I had it redone. Recovery is a little tougher this time b/c for some reason the pain meds or antibiotic is making me naseuas. Pain is going away though and on day 3 with it in,I've already waited 2 hours in between peeing which is huge for me! I am told this will get evewn better with time. Now..to be very careful the next month or so! Oh yeah, insurance did cover it again, yay!
