well when you are up half the night you stumble onto websites I found this one if anyone is interested. It has a questionaire you fill out and it gives you precentages of survival after r/c. It may or may not interest you. But maybe with these tools they will be able to define a good treatment plan. I had my coffee this morning so I will be fairly in a good mood for at least a couple of hours. Group hug! Joycee

Anna

thanks Anna, I could not remembe what I did at 3 a.m. I know some people are interested and some are not, b ut the do have a choice to check out. How are you doing, going back to work soon? Hope all is well with you, Enjoy your day! Joycee

Hi

I am NOT computer savvy but my children taught me how to paste very recently.. I am not going back to work for another couple of weeks becasue I am not supposed to any lifting and PT sometimes involve that.

Right now I am busy with my childrens halloween party that will take place this friday. Its going to be a both boys and girls party.
I have some mixed feelings when I look at my 11 1/2 year old daughter and her friends. They are getting so big. Yesterday she tried to talk me into having her eye brows waxed. "Mom come on look at my eye brows I really need to have them waxed professionally...(or it will be the end of the world)".

Anna

Hugs back at ya to Joycee,,,,so wheres my coffee?

Ginger

anna, thats too funny, where did they even hear about waxing. At 11 I was playing with dolls! of course that was in pre historic time as far as my grandchildren are concerned. They laughed when I said we didn't even hair hairdryers in the '50's. Now they can't live without ipod, cellphones. Enjoy your little vacation time and enjoy the party. Joycee

didn't you read my post to Lynba I drank yours and mine and I am higher then a kite and running out of house to clean.........

Thanks for the reminder on the nomogram link, Joycee. I even go back every now and then and re-enter data. I had recently gotten an e mail of their cancer news letter that indicated they had refined the nomogram so revisited it this past weekend. Best wishes to all,

JJ

JJ after my phone conversation with Dr. Kamat, I wrote everything down, you know the 25% reduction of recurrence with chemo, etc. well I just got his letter to follow up. Ity says chemo with this path studies show chemo maybe of some benefit as far as reaccurance, no mention of his 25% it might help again for survival, a big change from his I can cure you bob . he said bob can wait for a reaccurence and treat then or see an oncologist now. nothing he said on the phone is in this letter. I just e mailed there and nurse is following up with him. if I was upset then, that is an understatement at this time. JOycee

Joycee,

I can certainly understand your frustration and hope that you and Bob are making progress on how you plan to proceed. I hope that you get a response from MDA, soon, but at 4 CDT, I would expect the response to come tomorrow at the earliest. How frustrating! You continue to be at the top of my prayer list.

JJ

Understand the staying up all night drinking coffee part. Look forward to hearing from you and Bob.
