Stages of Bladder Cancer Talk Oct. 28 at Wilmot Cancer Center
People with bladder cancer can learn about the spectrum of the disease during a meeting of a new support group at the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center. The group will meet at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, in the Luellen Patient and Family Resource Center.
Gregory J. Oleyourryk, M.D., clinical associate professor of Urology at the University of Rochester Medical Center and chief of Urology at Unity Hospital, will discuss stages and treatments for bladder cancer.
Bladder cancer is diagnosed in about 71,000 people in the United States each year. It is more common among men than women and more common among whites than blacks. Nearly 90 percent of people with this cancer are over the age of 55.
Future topics include nutrition, ostomy care, clinical trials, stress management and surgical options for treatment.

I am so bummed that I do not get out of work and wouldnt make it there till 6:30....I may try and see what I can do...Been feeling all alone in Rochester.....
