Hi everyone....I am writing this at work. I had to go back to work(bills are stacking up). It's only part time for now because I need to be home with Dennis as much as I can. One of his sisters has decided to help out and come over to stay with him so that I can go to work. Dennis has not yet received the 5FU chemo. He has an appointment with the radiologist and the oncologist tomorrow afternoon. I'm not sure if he will be getting the chemo because he is kind of weak. Also, Karmanos Cancer Institute called this morning and there is some discussion between the doctors to get him back in to clinical trial. Dennis came home from the hospital this past Thursday. After laying in bed for 12 days, he has lost weight and is very weak. Since he has been home, he is eating well, napping a lot and getting a lot of visitors. He is also on oxygen now. So all in all he is okay and still wants to go back to work(I'm not surprised). For right now, it's one day at a time. Frankly I am still scared and crying a lot. I will update at another time.
God Bless,
Mary

Good to hear from you today. We're still here and hoping the best for you with continued treatment. I'm sure the doctors are doing their best to come up with the right treatment. We will be praying for both of you to stay strong in spirit.

Hi Mary, I'm glad to hear Dennis is home, and that he is eating well. I can imagine how scary this is, and hope that Karmanos comes up with a good clinical trial for him. Be sure to take care of you...

prayers and hugs,
Cathy

Hi Mary,

I'm glad that Dennis is well enough to be at home and that his sister is helping out. You continue to be in our prayers for his treatment.

JJ

Mary,

You and Dennis are in my Prayer's. I hope that being at work will help a bit. I will also pray that the Clinical trials will work out in your behalf.

Stacy
