Expect to start mitocycin 6 week treatment
in two weeks. Doc concerned that I may have picked up a UTI at the last cysto.
doesn't want to start until it clears up. Anybody have info?? thx...billb

Dennis,good luck with your 3 and half month check up,,should include,a chest scan,pelvis scan,,,blood work,urine test,,,maybe a rectal ,,,am praying for the all clear,,,,,ginger

Gottcha,sorry,,,,I got cystectomys ,cystoctemy's and my cytoscopy mixed up,,,,,,got it now,ginger

On the 9th I have my first post RC surgery doctor's appointment and hopefully the foley taken out. The 16th is the second and hopefully the Suprapubic tube taken out.

This Thursday jwheaton having an r/c,,,,,good luck,and any questions we are here,we will all be with you in spirit,,,,,,ginger

Presentations and slides from BCAN's most recent Patient Forum in Cleveland. Those diagnosed with non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer will be most interested in Dr. Jones' and Dr Pohar's presentations. People diagnosed with muscle-invasive bladder cancer will be most interested in Dr. Gong and Dr. Gilligan's presentations. Dr. Campbell talks about improving outcomes in bladder cancer patients, and Dr. Hansel talks about the importance of pathology in diagnosing, staging, and deciding on treatment for each patient.
